Normative release identity

MissionWeaveProtocol 0.1 is released as one website, protocol artifact bundle, and six exact SDK pins. The committed release-source.json records every non-self-referential input: protocol and SDK commits, release counts, profile identities, digests, locales, and the built-tree digest algorithm.

The public

normative-release.json

is generated during the production build. It copies every committed release source field and adds:

  • websiteCommit, the exact website Git commit;
  • buildIdentity, either the GitHub run/attempt pair or the local commit identity; and
  • contentDigests, one digest of the built HTML tree for each locale.

The generated manifest is not committed because a committed file cannot truthfully contain the Git identity of the commit that contains itself. Release verification reconstructs the generated fields and compares every committed field with release-source.json.
